About Casa Del Telar
Alejandro Martinez works at Casa Del Telar in Oaxaca, weaving textiles on a traditional pedal loom. The workshop focuses on cotton pieces with clean geometric patterns - a more contemporary take on traditional Oaxacan weaving.
Each piece is woven start to finish on the loom, with patterns carefully planned before the first thread is set. The cotton is durable and softens with use and washing.
