Mucho gusto. Our connection to the rich culture of Mexico is deeply rooted in family and tradition. Through many conversations with family, friends, and artisans, as well as inspiring visits to Oaxaca and Chiapas, we became familiar with the exceptional craftsmanship of local artisans and founded Anhela to share their skills with the world. Our goal is to connect homes by echoing the vibrant tales of Mexican artistry through authentic, one-of-one home decor and accessories that complement your unique lifestyle.

How we approach production

At Anhela, we honor detailed craftsmanship and responsible shopping. When you shop pre-order items, you engage in conscious consumption. For on-demand items we operate with a production cycle that matches the speed of the creator. Eventually, we want to work with a feasible production cycle. this means that at the start of the production cycle, we collect pre-orders, and then the skilled artisans begin crafting. This method ensures premium quality and uniqueness and aligns with our commitment to sustainability, preventing excess waste and surplus stock. After the artisans finish crafting, they ship items to us from Mexico after which we initiate delivery to you.

Our evolving journey

Currently, Anhela is in the exciting phase of settling in, and our first production cycle is launching soon. All the items we have available to shop are currently in stock and ready to ship.

For now, we work with so-called drops for in-stock items you can order off the batch – until we have established a better picture on creation times and logistics. However, there is an on-demand page to show your interest in custom-made items that we can have made for you and have shipped in either the next batch or as a special delivery (with additional costs).
