Wondering about the atelier-filled streets of San Cristobal de las Casas in Chiapas, we stumbled upon the most unique, quirky, and stylish ceramic mugs ever seen. Immediately capturing our attention, we bought a few for our homes and sent pictures to family and friends. Little did we realize the excitement that would evoke! That’s when we reached out to the lovely creators Belén and Paulina.
About Ahamar Ceramica
Ahamar Ceramics is a studio dedicated to creating both practical and decorative ceramic pieces. They take pride in designing each piece with love and care, ensuring that every item is unique. Additionally, Ahamar Ceramics is passionate about sharing its knowledge of hand-building techniques and pottery wheel skills with others. The workshop, located in Tuxtla Gutiérrez, Chiapas, Mexico, was established in February 2020 with the goal of developing new designs and innovations using high-temperature ceramics. They have positioned themselves in restaurants, cafes, and homes throughout the area.
